Ingredients You'll Need
1st Stage:
1 cup flour
¾ cup sugar
2 tablespoons cocoa
2 teaspoons baking powder
¼ teaspoon salt
1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl and set aside.
2nd Stage:
½ cup milk
2 tablespoons oil
1½ teaspoons vanilla
1. Combine all ingredients in a measuring cup and stir to blend.
3rd Stage:
1 cup brown sugar
4 tablespoons cocoa
Directions
1. Combine all stage 3 ingredients in a small bowl and blend until smooth.
2. Preheat oven to 350° F.
3. Combine mixtures from stages 1 and 2; stir until smooth.
4. Spread into ungreased 9” x 9” baking pan; sprinkle top with mixture from stage 3.
5. Pour 1¾ cups HOT water carefully over top (do not stir!); bake for 40 minutes
