Ingredients You'll Need
2 cups sugar
1/4 cup light corn syrup
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup butter
2 squares unsweetened chocolate
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
Directions
In a deep saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup, milk, butter, chocolate and salt. Stir together over low heat until chocolate and butter melt. Bring to full, rolling boil, stirring constantly; continue to cook for 1 minute. Remove from heat and cool for 10 minutes. Beat mixture until lukewarm. Stir in vanilla and nuts; beat smooth. Add a few extra drops of milk if needed to obtain desired spreading consisitency.
