Why I Love This Recipe


Ingredients You'll Need

2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
2 teaspoons baking soda
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground cloves
1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup vegetable oil
4 eggs, slightly beaten
2 cups solid-pack pumpkin puree (not pie filling)


Directions

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Great and flour 10" tube pan. Sift together flour, sugar, baking soda, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg and salt into large bowl. Make well in center; pour in oil and eggs. Beat on low speed until well blended. Add pumpkin; continue beating until completely mixed in. Turn batter into prepared pan. Bake in 350 oven 1 hour or until top springs back when lightly pressed with fingertip or wooden pick inserted in center comes clean. Cool cake in pan on wire rack 15 minutes.
